Edinburgh Car Boot Sale – Terms and Conditions
1. General Information
Welcome to the Edinburgh Car Boot Sale. By participating in our car boot sale as either a seller or a buyer, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
2. Seller Arrival and Setup
Sellers must arrive between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM to set up their tables and display their items.
Late arrivals may not be guaranteed a spot.
3. Buyer Admission
Buyers will be admitted to the sale area starting at 7:00 AM.
Early entry is not permitted.
4. Table Deposit
A £10 deposit is required for each table on the day of the event.
This deposit covers potential damage to the table.
The deposit will be refunded at the end of the sale, provided the table is returned in good condition.
5. Responsibility for Items
Sellers are responsible for their items at all times.
Edinburgh Car Boot Sale is not liable for any loss or damage to items.
Sellers must take all necessary precautions to safeguard their belongings.
6. Conduct and Behaviour
All participants are expected to behave respectfully towards others.
Any form of harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the event.
7. Clean-Up
Sellers are responsible for cleaning up their area at the end of the sale.
All rubbish and unsold items must be taken away by the seller.
8. Liability
Edinburgh Car Boot Sale is not liable for any personal injuries or damages to property occurring during the event.
Participation in the car boot sale is at your own risk.
9. Cancellation
In case of severe weather or other unforeseen circumstances, Edinburgh Car Boot Sale reserves the right to cancel the event.
Notice of cancellation will be given as early as possible.
We are indoor, this will be a very unique situation if we have to cancel any events.
10. Amendments
Edinburgh Car Boot Sale reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.
Any changes will be communicated to participants as soon as possible.
By attending the Edinburgh Car Boot Sale, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions. Thank you for your cooperation and participation.
